“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
1 Timothy 4:12

Sunday School
In 1900, Saint Habib Guirguis founded the first Coptic Orthodox Sunday Schools in Egypt, recognizing the urgent need for religious education. This effort began 15 years before Egypt established a formal public school system. Through his leadership, Sunday Schools spread across major cities, providing children with structured Christian education. His efforts helped preserve Orthodox faith and inspired a spiritual revival.
